Examples

Am Morgen trinke ich Kaffee. → In the morning, I drink coffee.

Am Nachmittag gehe ich spazieren. → In the afternoon, I go for a walk.

Am Abend sehe ich fern. → In the evening, I watch TV.

In der Nacht schlafe ich. → At night, I sleep.

💡 Tip: To talk about times of the day, Germans often use am + Tageszeit. Example: am Abend (in the evening).
